We love MOPS. We love how committed they are to building mothers up and helping them find their community.
But they’re proving that they’re dedicated to WAY more than just the preschool years with their newest partnership.
MOPS International has signed an exclusive strategic partnership with Colorado Christian University’s (CCU) College of Adult and Graduate Studies, offering a 30% discount to MOPS International Members toward undergraduate tuition in CCU’s College of Adult and Graduate Studies and 10% toward graduate program tuition.
You can even apply for Financial Aid to help cover the rest of the tuition.
“We’re committed to bettering mothers and their lives through a deep partnership,” said Mandy Arioto, President and CEO of MOPS International. “Often the season of mothering, especially mothering young kids, can feel like it requires putting your life on hold. That is why we love CCU’s flexible online options for pursuing a degree. It makes it possible to pursue one’s dreams, improve the lives of your family and be present with your kids, all at the same time.”
Over half of MOPS members don’t have a Bachelor’s degree, and 80% don’t have a Master’s degree. Higher education is closely correlated with improved income opportunities, but it impacts a family in other ways as well. Parental education levels are linked to better educational outcomes for children, reduced rates of divorce, and better social outcomes and opportunities.
This partnership, offering online and flexible learning opportunities, allows moms to work toward their educational goals and improve the welfare of their families even during the intensive season of mothering littles.
Motherhood is a season, and sometimes it’s hard to imagine what could possibly come next. But with this newest partnership between MOPS and Colorado Christian University, moms can work to achieve their dreams and look forward to the next season while enjoying the current one.
