And, then the toddler years came with tantrums, and the school years with learning issues and social drama.   • I have read ‘Jesus and the miraculous catch of fish’ several times, and never had this line had any meaning whatsoever to me. You’re probably even thinking “Ok….?” Why would you ever stop to think about the net that hauled the fish? The obvious take-away is Peter’s repentance and the incredible, gracious love of Christ.   • I realize that I am not my step kids’ biological mom. They have a mom. I do everything I can to support their relationship. That is an important connection that they need in their lives. As a step mom it’s sometimes hard to separate the mom duties from the official title of mom. Especially when you give your heart to them as if they are your own. The step child has the option to either accept and embrace your efforts of love or reject them…no matter their age.
