Easter is almost here! How do you celebrate as a family? If you are looking to start some new traditions, try these!
- Head out to a community event with your family. We are going to be at South Hill Mall with SPIRIT 105.3 for the Easter Bunny arrival THIS SATURDAY 3/17. Hop over for photos with the Easter Bunny, the kids will enjoy free crafts, a magician and balloon twister! Enter to win tickets to Supercross! It’s all happening at South Hill Mall March 17th. Join us!
3. Try this Easter iSpy Activity. It makes the Bible come alive for kids! Simply toss some small items or props into a sensory bin (this could be as simple as a bowl of rice grains or oatmeal or whatever you have in your kitchen) or sandbox, and have your kids hunt for them. As they pull out the props, take the opportunity to tell them what each item represents in the Easter story.
5. Just enjoy time together. Sometimes the best days are simply going to church together, enjoying a meal around the table, turning off electronics and simply being together. It doesn’t have to be complicated to be amazing.
What are you up to for Easter? What are your traditions?
