1. Visit a National Park. Bonus if it’s one you’ve never been to before!
2. Read a book for pleasure. Hard to do when you’re buried in your studies during the school year. Now’s your chance!
3. Make a list of companies that hire people in your professional industry. Start your research now! This will come in handy when you start looking for jobs and internships.
4. Disconnect from social media. Choose a day (or three) and intentionally disconnect from social media. See how you feel by the end of the day.
5. Join a Bible study. Don’t neglect your faith this summer. Join a Bible study to connect with other who want to dig deeper into the Word.
6. Go thrifting for a killer interview outfit. It’s always a good idea to have a professional outfit in your closet that gives you confidence the minute you put it on. Make it a treasure hunt by visiting second-hand stores to put together the perfect ensemble!
7. Pick up an old hobby (or learn a new one). Guitar? Crochet? Yo-yo? Magic tricks? Photography?
8. Plan the next year. Make a budget, plan your class schedule, and set goals and timelines for the next school year. It will feel good to start the year with a plan!
9. Learn to cook something new. Whether you’re eating in the cafeteria at school or just grabbing things from your fridge on the go, you’re probably not flexing your culinary muscles much during the school year.
10. Get outside. Whether it’s hiking, camping, or lounging on the beach, find time to get outside this summer.
