Tis the season for Christmas gatherings and bringing a dish to share with others. Even before they became trendy, I was already bringing charcuterie boards to parties. Somewhere in the past several years, social media has turned them into competitive art projects. That can be really fun. But it isn’t always necessary. Here is how you can turn any board into a Christmas themed board.
You only need two things:
- Candy canes
- Rosemary sprigs
Really, that’s it.
You can use whatever meats, cheeses, fruits and crackers look good and just assemble however you like. You can absolutely get fancy with it and immediately elevate your board by making a super simple meat rose.
Check out this very standard board I did when I was short on time and it still turned out just fine and was Christmas themed due to the candy cane and rosemary sprig I put in the center. That is really all it took!
