Sweet September is finally here, along with all the feelings of fall! Delicious baked goods are one of the best things about this season. There are so many cozy flavors to enjoy as the leaves begin to change and we wake up to that refreshing, crisp morning air. If you’re looking for a fall-flavored recipe this month, what could be better than a quick bread that tastes like apple-cinnamon donuts?! The cinnamon sugar topping adds a tasty crunch that pairs so nicely with the fluffy, spice-filled bread. It goes perfectly with a cup of coffee or tea and makes for a comforting after-school snack!
September might be full of schedule changes, new classrooms, and football games, but taking the time to bake up this sweet treat will definitely be worth it. Tummies will be full, your kitchen will smell heavenly, and hopefully it will even remind you to slow down a little and appreciate the simple things amidst the back-to-school chaos. Happy fall!

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease two loaf pans. (for easier removal, line the loaf pans with parchment paper that hangs over the sides by a few inches-I forgot this step today!)
In medium bowl, gently whisk the dry ingredients.
In a large bowl, cream the sugars and butter. Beat in one egg at a time. Stir in vanilla extract.
In a small bowl, whisk the applesauce and cider.

Pour half of the dry flour mixture into the bowl with the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Then, pour in half of the apple cider/applesauce mixture. Once combined, repeat this step and stir in the remaining flour followed by the rest of the cider mixture.
