Moms, I have a confession. I finally figured out why I could never commit 100% to the healthier version of me. The problem? It was me!
I started the 30/10 program and said I would share my experience with you. I was so nervous at the beginning because I didn’t know what to expect. I have heard so many success stories from the program. But what if I didn’t become a success story? Nerves were prominent within me as I took this plunge to make 30/10 a part of my life.
My first week was an adventure. While nerves were still there, I also felt excitement. Was I really doing this? Was I finally taking charge for a healthier me? Yes, I was! Week one, I was not only down in weight but also in my body fat percentage and my visceral fat (the bad tummy fat). Moms, nothing can take away that moment of pride as I stood there realizing that the program was working.
But here was the eye opener.
I slowly started to see why people can be successful on this program and why they can maintain those results.
The coaches at 30/10.
They are not just there to manage a front desk, weigh you and send you out the door. They are truly there for you. I should know because in the first week I called three times with questions. Without fail, they answered the phone and helped me along my way. They called me to check in as well. I felt so incredibly supported that it motivated me to remember why I signed up for this in the first place.
I wanted to finally commit to a healthier me. For my kids, my husband and for ME!
But the reason I have not fully committed to reaching my goals previously was because of…ME!
I tried to do it alone or with a friend. My friends are great but last I checked they have other things to worry about besides being my coach. They are also not skilled in the area so questions I had would likely be questions they had too and nobody to solve it. It is just too easy to fall off the path when you try it without the proper support.
Moms, stop trying to do this alone. Regardless of big or small goals, all of us need the expertise and support that 30/10 can provide. I am feeling better than I ever have when I think about the likelihood of actually reaching and maintaining my goals. That is the difference that 30/10 can bring.
